Update!!
During the last month I have met with my co-producer Ann Laurene to discuss my music.  We had a great time talking about what direction to take with my music and I finally decided on trying to do a techno pop song.  I am in the process of taking some singing lessons soon in the hopes to improve my singing ability and I am looking very forward to recording some songs in the near future down the road.  Wish me luck and I'll keep you posted!!                                                             Aside from acting, I am also a songwriter/singer!!  I have yet to record any of my original material, but I am in the beginning stages of the process.  And what a fun process it is.  When I act in a movie, I only go to the set and film my scenes and leave.  My part is done.  I am learning that with music, I am personally involved in every aspect of the process.  It is a lot more fun to be personally involved and to see something that you have worked hard on evolve into something else.  I am very excited to be working with my friend and co-producer on my songs, Ann Laurene.  She has a christina CD titled "More Like You" available online.  She is an awesome person and very inspiring to me on this journey that I am on with my music.  Since I am a lyricist and do not read or write music, Ann is helping to take the melodies I have in my head for my songs and get them onto paper!!  I will be the first one to admit that I am not the greatest singer in the world.  However, I believe I am not the worst and that I can do my part and have some fun with it.  My songs range from everything to my relationship with God, love, loss, heartache, and everything in between!!  Singing and recording my songs for me is something that I have always wanted to do and I am going to have fun with it and not set out to turn the world on fire with it.  If that happens, all the better.  But it will be a fun process and I am looking forward to it.  I have several wonderful heartfelt songs that I have written over the last decade that paint a portrait of me and where I've been and where I am going on life's journey and I am excited to share them with everyone when they are done.  So keep your ears open because you just might hear some of my songs down the road.  At least on my website or MYSPACE page!!
